This is a blog in honor of my parents, Jack & Norma Louise. Their love story was nearly 70 years in the making. When my sister and I moved our parents from their home in Michigan to Tennesee, we discovered the treasure trove of their WWII letters that they wrote when they when they were seperated. This blog takes each letter that they wrote and publishes them here. So you can read along, seeing a true love story unfold, with the backdrop of a world war that will threaten their futue together.
Jack & Norma Louise met on a blind date in the Spring of 1942 in Detroit Michigan when they were 24 and 21 years old respectfully. They dated for a time, enjoying the parks, and ballparks of Detroit.
